Sankō, Mozō, Mihon Positions

Sankō vertical: (below central inscription.) Found on stamps with No syllabic: violet or lilac, and Syllabic 8 (chi): red.

Sankō horizontal – Position 1: (on either side of central inscription.) Found on Syllabic 8 (chi): red.

Sankō horizontal – Position 2: (above lower corner ornaments on either side between band and inner frame.) Found on Syllabic 5 (ho): violet or lilac.

Mozō horizontal – Position 1: (between lower inside corner ornaments and outer leaves of paulownia crest.) Found on No syllabic: violet or lilac.

Mozō horizontal – Position 2: (below central inscription.) Found on Syllabic 8 (chi): red.

Mozō horizontal – Position 3: (on either side of bottom character of central inscription.) Found on Syllabic 8 (chi): red.

Mihon vertical: (w of central inscription.) Found on stamps with No syllabic: violet or lilac and Syllabic 8 (chi): red.
